Miguel C. Garcia

Chairman and CEO

Miguel Garcia is a visionary entrepreneur and global business leader with over 25 years of experience in innovation, infrastructure, and strategic development. He is the founder of DTSI Group, which he launched at the age of 26 and grew into a premier technology and infrastructure firm. Under his leadership, DTSI delivered over 1 million square meters of BPO-ready office space and enabled more than 700,000 call center seats, helping bring 100+ of the world’s leading BPO and GIC firms to the Philippines.
A two-time Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year finalist and founding member of IT-BPAP, Miguel has long championed the Philippines as a global outsourcing hub. In partnership with the Department of Trade and Industry and the Board of Investments, he has led multiple international trade missions promoting the Filipino knowledge workforce and enabling millions of local jobs.
Following a successful majority acquisition of DTSI by Japan’s NTT Group (a Fortune Global 50 firm), Miguel exited the company in 2019. Today, he serves as Chairman and CEO of Actuate Builders Inc., a Triple A general contractor and IT provider committed to building a Modern Philippines—one project at a time.
A passionate advocate of lifelong learning, Miguel has completed executive programs at Stanford, Harvard Business School, Bentley University, and Sophia University in Tokyo. He is a former YPO Philippines Chapter Chair and a member of CEO, YPO and the Management Association of the Philippines and the Makati Business Club.
